The school I taught in would give each child a new book and the children were told to make it a book about them. Do whatever they wanted, writing, pictures, models, photos, write about things they did during the holiday, their family, goals in life etc. they didn’t have to do it and there were no expectations on quantity either. We didn’t set homework over other school holidays either, or things like Halloween or bonfire night. As a child I remember some teachers would set loads on those days. I taught in a primary school but I have friends who teach in secondary/high schools and they don’t set it on those nights and nights when there’s something like a school production, my going on about it worked 😂

한국도 여름 방학숙제가 없어요
30년전쯤에는 만들기 곤충채집 방학용 책 풀기 독후감쓰기등 많았는데 다 없어졌답니다~
아침에 계란하나에 간장만으로도 맛있게 먹는아이들이 착하네요.
한국은 한번에 너무 여러가지 음식을 갖추어 먹고자라서 … 저녁식사도 두가지 정도만 만들어서 식사하는게 너무 좋은거 같아요.
사실두가지도 만드는건 어려운데..한국은 기본저장반찬 두세가지에 메인요리 나물 볶음등 세네개 만드는편이라 주부는 더 힘들답니다.
저도 식단을 좀 바꿔봐야겠네요

Love how your kids have good taste in food. My nieces and nephews are picky eaters. They rather eat McDonald’s then eat something with veggies.

I went to shodoshima to do some field practical when i was undergraduated. I learned how to produce soy sauce in shodoshima local people. I ate soysauce with am icecream when summer. It was so delicious. I miss shodoshima
