【ASMR】叉焼(焼豚)の作り方♪ How to make Char Siu(Chinese Roast Pork)♪
How to make Char Siu♪ (Chinese Roast pork) 500g of pork butt block. Prick all over the surface with a fork. 2 tbsp of sugar. 2 tbsp of honey. 2 tbsp of Shaoxing wine. 50 ml of say sauce. 1 tbsp of oyster sauce. Grate ginger with skin. Put 1/2 tsp of ginger juice. Rub well. I forgot to put Chinese five-spice powder. Put 1/4 tsp of Chinese five-spice powder if you like. Remove all the air in cold water. Leave it in a fridge for 2~3 days to absorb the flavors. 3 days later. Leave it for 30 minutes to bring back to room temperature. Preheat the oven at 180℃(356F) Boil down until the sauce is reduced by one third. Like this. Roast it for 40 minutes total. First, roast it for 10 minutes. Once, take out it after 10 minutes. Brush with the sauce. Turn over and brush as well. Put in the oven and roast 10 minutes again. Repeat this process 3 times. It will have a nice color and shine by this process. Leave it for 40 minutes if you do not have time. After 40 minutes. Leave it for 10 minutes. Remove burnt bits with kitchen scissors but leave some of them on – they’re tasty. Check it out! It will have a nice color and shine! End slice of Char Siu is very tasty! Enjoy!
