Yurika’s Shrimp and Simeji mushroom pasta 海老ときのこのトマトクリームパスタ
Here, this is my Shrimp and Shimeji mushroom pasta with tomato cream sauce. It’s my favorite recipe. Enjoy my taste. So delicious! Hello, everyone. Today, I’m going to make “Shrimp and Shimeji mushroom pasta with tomato cream sauce”.
I really like tomato cream that is easy and delicious. I often cook it for lunch. By heating a tomato makes it mild taste. And more fresh cream makes the sauce rich. The ingredients are as follows; Dried pasta, today I use 1.4mm thin tipe.
De-veined shrimp, Shimeji mushroom, Tomato sauce Fresh cream, Salt, White wine and… Basil leaf for decoration. So let’s get started. So, let’s get started. First of all, add salt to boiled water. Add a generous amount. Add the pasta into it. Twist the pasta and place into the pot.
Sink the pasta into the boiled water. When all the pasta has sinked… Boil for 4 minutes. While boiling the pasta, cook the other ingredients. This is a frying pan that has poured olive oil. Turn on gas. After the frying pan has heated, add the shrimps. They has deveined.
When the both side have fried, add the Shimeji mushrooms. When the oil has spread to all ingredients, add the remaining ingredients. Add the white wine. Add the tomato sauce. This is the fresh cream. Season the sauce with salt. 4 minutes have passed. Add the pasta to the frying pan.
Heat by frying pan for remaining 1 minute. Adjust the sauce hardness by the cooking liquid. When the sauce has spread to all ingredients, it’s ready. Turn off the heat. Place on a serving dish. Twist the pasta and put on it. Finally, place the Basil leaf for decoration.
Break the Basil with your hands. In doing so, you can get good aroma. And then, it’s ready. Here, my pasta is ready to be served. It’s my favorite recipe. Enjoy my taste. So delicious.
Shimeji is a very popular mushroom in Japan. it is cheap and sold everywhere around only $1 at any supermarket, but it has rich in umami tasting and all Japanese loves it.

2-2/3 oz Dried pasta (1.4mm)
1-2/3 oz De-veined shrimp
2-2/3 oz Shimeji mushroom
2-2/3 oz Tomato sauce
2 tbsp Fresh cream
1 tbsp White wine
Salt, Basil leaf, Olive oil
※Tomato sauce is usually made with tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper.
