How To Make Oyster Tsukudani like Clams Japanese authentic cooking

Tsukudani with frozen oysters. Easy way. Tsukudani with Asari(Clams) are very popular but You can make it with Oysters. And it matches with Fresh cooked rice and Beer!

What you need (movie ingredients)

〇 Oyseters ( frozen)       1000g
〇 Ginger             1 tbsp sliced
〇 Soysauce            1cup
〇 Sake              1cup
〇 Mirin             1cup
〇 Sugar (zarame)        3/4cup

〇 Potato starch to clean oysters  3tbsp

How to make

1 Defrost oysters by running water 3~4min. Remove cracked shells sticking on oysters carefully
2 Clean oysters with Potato starch or flours gently to get dirts off.Flours helps to clean oysters
3 Remove alcohol from mixed sauce by boiling
4 Remove oysters from the sauce at your favorite point from the sauce
5 Reduce the sauce and put Oysters back in the sauce and simmer until boil again
