There is a Korean fast food-like restaurant called "Egg Drop" that serves egg sandwiches in a box. There are many different kinds of egg sandwiches at Egg Drop, but today I’m going to make a basic egg sandwich and a bacon double cheese sandwich, which seems to be the most popular. Let’s start by introducing today’s ingredients. Here are the ingredients. First, bread, then eggs, bacon, cheese. This one uses cheddar cheese. I make two kinds of sauces. This is mayonnaise, chili sauce, mayonnaise, condensed milk. And here’s salt, sugar, dried parsley. I was a little out of this. We will also use milk and butter. Today, going to use a loaf of bread that’s about this size, and the one called Egg Drop, the bread was a little tiny, too. This one is a little too small, so I’m going to cut it lengthwise this time. I think it would be difficult for everyone to find a loaf of bread this size, so I think it would be okay if you use the normal size. The egg drop comes in a tiny box. It’s very cute, but it’s hard to find a box, so here’s a box made of kraft paper, about this size, from a 100 yen store. I think I’m going to use it in this one today. I made a box like this I would also like to show you how to make this box. Okay, first of all, a box made out of a paper bag. I would like to make this one first. I’m going to cut this roughly to the line here. I’m going to cut it like this. And then I found this at the 100-yen store, too. It’s masking tape. I’m going to put this on the edge. I hope you can do this to your liking. And then we’ll put this all the way around, and then we’ll have a box like this. It’s a paper bag, so we’re going to put a cookie sheet inside of it just in case. Then I’d like to make the sauce. First, going to make the sauce to put inside the bread. And then there’s mayonnaise, and then there’s chili sauce. And going to add this, and then we’re going to mix this in. Now you have the sauce for the one that you’re going to put in the bread. So this is the sauce to put on top. And here’s the mayonnaise and here’s the condensed milk. Korean recipes often add sweet seasonings to the salty ones. Then I’ll mix this in. I wonder what it tastes like A little taste. Very tasty. Tastes a little like French dressing. Here’s the sauce to put on top of the eggs. Next I want to cut the bread. Going to cut this in half. And then we’re going to cut this part in half. I’d like to cut this side as well. I’d like to pan-fry this one later to make it more reproducible. I’m going to cut it like this. If you can get it to look like this, make a slit here halfway down the middle. I’m hoping you guys can do it with two slices of bread when you do it. I’ll cut a slice for you. It looks like this. Then I’ll make an egg. Going to use two eggs per loaf of bread, so going to crack two eggs. 2 tablespoons of milk is added for each tablespoon, so 2 tablespoons. And about two pinches of salt and two pinches of sugar as well. If you don’t have milk, you can use water. Now I mix it. Be sure to mix the eggs thoroughly at this point. Mix the whites as you cut them. If it becomes a smooth egg like this, it’s OK. Then we’ll go on to make another one. I can do it like this. Then we’ll bake the bread. And then I spread the butter on it. We want to butter the whole thing and bake it savory And then I’ll bake it with this, this whole thing. I’m going to bake it with this. And then going to take it off, and going to remove the crumbs, and going to do this again, so be careful not to burn yourself. And the other side with the butter. Nice browning. The other side is also baked. If you hold it down like this, it browns well and beautifully. Flip it over a bit and it looks good. Looks good. Burned nice. And now for the bacon. Bacon is left as it is because it produces oil. Going to keep it crispy and baked. When it gets a nice brown color, it’s ready. Bacon is done like this. Next: Last egg. Next, going to cook them in butter. Going to use a rubber spatula for this. The method of making this egg is very simple. Once the butter is melted, turn the heat down to low. Put your hand in. You don’t have to sizzle at this time. At this time. And then you take it off like this and mix it a little bit, so that it starts to harden around the edges. Going to make a half-cooked egg. Mixing the hardened and un-hardened parts like this gives a nice semi-cooked egg. The mixture is turned like this so that it is scraped off like this. The eggs become more and more semi-cooked just by turning them like this That’s all I’ve got. Now it’s time to let the residual heat set in. So I would like to serve this on a plate. Because the eggs harden pretty quickly in no time, and they harden pretty quickly on low heat, too. It’ll end up semi-cooked like this. And then going to make another one. When the butter has melted, I turn the heat down to low. Add this to the mixture. And when it’s really set, you can turn the pan like this with a rubber spatula and peel off the hardened part of the egg and mix it with this uncooked part of the egg to get a nice semi-cooked egg. When it’s a little bit hardened, you can scrape it off and roll the pan like this. If you do this over high heat, it will harden all at once, so I recommend doing it over low heat like this. That’s OK. Slowly. This much already half-ripe is OK. And now going to transfer them to a plate, and that’s it for the scrambled eggs. Now I’d like to put everything else between the bread. And now I’d like to serve it up. I would like to put the chili sauce and mayonnaise sauce that I made between these breads. I will paint it during this time. Already this just looks delicious. Next is the cheese. On one side, going to put two pieces of cheese between the two pieces of cheese. Put the cheddar cheese in. I put it in here too. Then I’ll add a lot of bacon next on this side. It’s very voluptuous like this. I’m going to sandwich it like this. Here’s another one ready to go. Okay, let’s start with the eggs over here. This one is just a simple egg. I’d like to add a tender half-boiled egg. Then going to put it in between. Going to pinch as much as we can. It’s like this. Looks insanely delicious. Then I’ll fill this one too. That’s a lot of volume. And then here’s the source that we just created. I put it in these containers. I do it with a view. I’m going to source this one as well. And then sprinkle the parsley over the top like this. It’s done. It’s done quite voluminously like this. It looks so delicious. I think it’s more voluptuous than I imagined. So that’s the finished product. It became very voluminous. It’s a lot of volume. I don’t know if I can eat this. Let’s eat. Let’s see if we can eat. It’s insanely delicious. Very tasty. This sauce and the egg and the bacon and the cheese… it’s all great. The sauce is sweet and savory, and that’s what goes with it. So then it’s the regular plain egg one. Let’s eat. This is insanely delicious. This addictive feeling that Japanese hamburgers and egg sandwiches don’t have. So, I think the most important point today is to make the eggs tender. Slowly cook the eggs over low heat and don’t overmix them. The eggs will harden from the edges of the pan, so I would suggest that you use a rubber spatula to rotate the edges of the pan as you cook them. The sauce I made this time is also very tasty, so I think it can be used for salads and all sorts of other things. I bought mini sized loaves of bread and cut them myself, but I think you could also use two slices of bread for the sandwiches. I think it would be easier to make that way.
